4 DAYS AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK SAFARI CHIMP TRACKING

Pick up in Kigali and transfer to Akagera National Park. Briefing then start a short game drive in search for the big 5 that include lions, Rhinos, Leopards, Elephants and buffaloes plus the 12 species of antelopes including the biggest antelopes such as the eland cape and roan antelopes, some of the 525-bird species including 4 rare birds of Akagera, reptiles, amphibians, plants, magnificent landscapes, historical sites; a place with the highest concentration of birds per square kilometer than any other national park of Africa and hundreds of hippos etc. Lunch at the Lodge.
In the afternoon, transfer to Lake Ihema for a thrilling boat ride to see schools of hippos, the giant Nile crocodiles, African elephants and lots of water birds. Overnight: - AKAGERA GAME LODGE.

Early breakfast at lodge followed by a full game drive from south and exit in the north in search of the unseen game on the previous game drive. You will have packed lunch box and soft drinks for the day.
Transfer back to Kigali. Dinner & overnight at Onomo Hotel

Morning pickup in Kigali (7am) transfer to Nyungwe en-route do the historical-minded exploration of Nyanza – visit the King’s palace and traditional Rwanda home; the National Museum, introduction to Rwanda’s kingdoms, discovery of colonial architecture, enjoy traditional dancers from the museum or the national university. Proceed to Nyungwe Forest and visit the famous canopy walk way, a 70m high artificial bridge, get chances to see different bird species at the top of the forest. Overnight: - Nyungwe Top Hill Hotel.

Early breakfast at 5:30am then drive to the edge of the forest to start the trekking of chimpanzees the closest apes to humans in DNA composition
Afternoon transfer back to Kigali and/or to the Airport, Fare well time…….
