Overview
Queen Elizabeth National Park is a national park located in southwestern Uganda. It covers an area of 1,978 square kilometers and is known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, hippos, and chimpanzees. The park is also home to over 600 bird species, making it a popular destination for birdwatchers.

Arrive at Kigali International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Kigali. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and acclimatizing to the city.
After breakfast, depart from Kigali and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, enjoy the scenic drive and stop at the Equator for a photo opportunity. Upon arrival at the park, take an evening game drive to see the wildlife that roams the park.
Spend the day exploring the park with a morning game drive to see animals such as lions, elephants, buffalos, and more. After lunch, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel where you'll see hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species.
After breakfast, go chimpanzee trekking in the Kyambura Gorge, where you'll see the primates in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, take a nature walk to explore the park's flora and fauna.
Enjoy an early morning game drive to see many of the Savannah’s animals while they’re most active. Return to the lodge for breakfast followed by a departure drive to Mombasa arriving in the early afternoon.
After breakfast, drive back to Kigali for your departure flight. Along the way, stop at the Igongo Cultural Center for a cultural experience and lunch. Arrive in Kigali in the afternoon and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
