Early breakfast then transfer to Masai Mara; start a game drive in the park in search for the big 5 animals. I.e lions, rhinos, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and different hoofed wild animals. Enjoy your picnic lunch boxes by the river side. This is the point where millions of wildebeest cross the Mara River from Serengeti National Park.
(OPTIONAL) A visit to the Masai villages and hot air balloon flying over vast plains, taking off in the beautiful early morning, you drift above the browsing game and have tremendous opportunities for unusual photographs. Witness an African sunrise as a plethora of wildlife roam the land beneath you. At the end of the flight you land on the plains, in the midst of this enchanting savannah a champagne breakfast is laid out with the mouthwatering aroma of sausages, eggs, and bacon, sizzling over a charcoal fire. Breakfast later start the historical-minded exploration of Kigali city with visits to landmarks from colonial, post-independence, genocide and post-genocide times i.e. Kigali Genocide memorial site where over 259,000 genocide victims were put to rest in mass graves, Dr. Richard Kandt Museum who was the first Germany explorer to settle in Kigali, Belgian camp where they killed the 10 Belgian UN soldiers who were protecting the moderate prime minister before the start of genocide etc.
Transfer to Bugesera in the afternoon to visit the reconciliation village where the survivors of genocide live together in harmony with the perpetrators that killed their own families, get opportunity to hear testimonies from both sides and engage in different traditional activities.

Transfer to Nyungwe enroute visit the King’s palace and Art gallery in Nyanza and the Ethnographical museum in Butare, it is the second biggest town of Rwanda, we will visit the National Museum of Rwanda - one of the largest Museums in Africa. Butare is also home to the famous National University of Rwanda. After visiting the museum, we transfer to Nyungwe National Park and stay. Dinner & Overnight at Nyungwe Top View Hotel
We will have an early start today 5am in order to track chimpanzees with the aid of our own personal park ranger. As soon as we have found a family of chimps we are allowed to spend one hour with them in order to see them enjoying their natural habitat.
Afternoon, visit the canopy walk way, the first of its kind in the East African Region (East Africa) It gives you the opportunity to experience the rainforest from a new perspective. The walkway is linked with a guided tour along the Igishigishigi Trail. A specialized park guide will not only show you the forest canopy but also explain why it is an integral part of the tropical rainforest ecosystem. Breakfast then transfer to Kibuye, start the boat cruise to visit the Napoleon Island named by a French traveler for its shape of the hat of Napoleon to see clouds of big fruit bats, swimming birds and learn the history of the Islands.
Later transfer to Nyungwe National Park, drive around Lake Kivu with beautiful scenery of “1000 hills and a million smiles” .it’s a great drive through the remotest villages of Rwanda as you enjoy local lifestyles along the Congo-Nile trail. You will have packed lunch and enough water plus juice on the drive. Dinner and Overnight at Bethane hotel

Early breakfast then transfer to the entrance of the Park for the briefing and grouping later drive to the edge of the forest to track the Golden Monkeys. It is now believed that they are the only feasible population of Golden Monkeys residing in Volcanoes National Park. They are beautiful and endangered primates which have become quite habituated to humans.
Lunch and refreshment then visit twin lakes of burera and ruhondo Overnight at La Palme Hotel
After breakfast we transfer to the park reception, completing our park formalities then embark on a once in a life time experience of tracking mountain gorillas.
Once you spot them you are allowed to spend an hour watching your closest long lost cousin. This is perhaps one of the most breathtaking wildlife experiences on earth!!! You get so close to these awesome giant primates. You stare at each other blankly not knowing who to break the long silence first. Tracking the gorillas through the light mountain forest on the slopes is a magical experience.
Be back at the base in time for lunch! Some gorilla families however are more elusive and tracking can take a full day, especially when it is wet and muddy. Visit ibyiwacu culture village lean and experience Rwandan culture, traditional dance get involved in different activities etc.
Meet our driver at the reception, load your luggage into the car and drive straight to airport to catch a flight back to your home.
